Our standards
The outgoing e-mails with invoices to our customer meet the following requirements:
Digitization of invoicing
Sending e-invoices
Until December 31, 2026, companies may continue to send “other invoices” with the consent of the recipient. From January 1, 2027, the sending of e-invoices will be mandatory in the domestic B2B sector. The STOCKMEIER Group will continue to send outgoing invoices electronically under the term “other invoices” until further notice.
Technically, we will be able to send invoices in the “XRechnung” and “ZUGFeRD” formats as early as the first quarter of 2025. We will switch to the new formats at the request of our partners. For this, we need specific information from our customers, such as the desired format, the preferred billing types (e.g. invoice, instant invoice) as well as the PeppolID, LeitwegID or the corresponding email address. Our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) will be adapted accordingly to meet the new requirements.
Receiving e-invoices
From January 1, 2025, all invoice recipients are legally obliged to enable the receipt of e-invoices. However, small-amount invoices up to a total amount of 250 euros and tickets for passenger transport can continue to be transmitted as “other invoices” with the recipient's consent. As of the effective date, the domestic companies of the STOCKMEIER Group are ready to receive e-invoices in the “XRechnung” and “ZUGFeRD” formats. These can be sent by email as usual, although we will continue to accept “other invoices”.
