Since September 2020, we have been a member of the independent sustainability initiative EcoVadis. With our first sustainability report, we were able to improve our ranking there from bronze to silver at the first go. Working with EcoVadis helps us to track our sustainability goals and document measures. The EcoVadis ranking is particularly important for cooperation with multinationals on both the customer and supplier side. We also have colleagues who look after the issue of sustainable procurement.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is an evaluation platform for assessing corporate social responsibility and sustainable procurement.
The EcoVadis rating covers a wide range of non-financial management systems, including environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each company is assessed on the issues relevant to its size, location and industry.
Large multinational companies work with EcoVadis to improve the sustainability of their global supply chain. They use the impact of spending as a "positive force" to ensure that their business partners achieve results that go beyond compliance. The evaluated company can see how its business compares to the industry. EcoVadis has already evaluated over 45,000 business partners around the world. And since September 2020, the STOCKMEIER Group has also been rated.
