From September 10th to 11th, 2024, the STOCKMEIER Group's European Management Meeting (EMM) took place in the vibrant town of Sitges (Spain). The event brought together managing directors from the four business units, the national subsidiaries of Chemicals, and representatives from cross-functional teams. The agenda was packed with exciting content, including strategic presentations from the business units and the Sustainability team, along with four dynamic pitches from smaller companies within the Chemicals division. A highlight was the interactive Gallery Walk, showcasing six key initiatives progressing successfully across the group.
The meeting was moderated by Laura Voges and Reinhard Scholz, with a strong emphasis on interaction, open dialogue, and Q&A sessions. Day one featured an unforgettable team-building activity—constructing a human tower, a proud Catalonian tradition—which helped reinforce the company's core values of trust, respect, courage, and responsibility. The day concluded with a delightful dinner at a local winery, where attendees could unwind and connect.
On day two, Dominik Neidhart, a former member of the victorious Alinghi team in the America’s Cup, captivated the audience with an inspiring talk and workshop focused on teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation. His insights left a lasting impression on all participants.
Overall, the meeting was a tremendous success, filled with energy, inspiration, and unity. The STOCKMEIER Group leaves Sitges feeling empowered and ready to tackle the future with confidence!
