STOCKMEIER starts production of its own additives
In the field of coating additives, STOCKMEIER Chemie is continuing on its path from pure distributor to manufacturer of its own products.
The latest example of this is Apridisp 761W. As the name suggests, this is a wetting and dispersing additive for aqueous formulations. As a surface-active substance, Apridisp 761W accelerates the wetting of the pigment and improves the stability of the pigment dispersion. It is ideally suited for organic and inorganic pigments and is characterized by a significant reduction in viscosity. In our own tests, the effectiveness of Apridisp 761W was demonstrated in comparison with a dispersing additive available on the market. For this purpose, the pigment paste of a wall paint was produced and its viscosity measured after 24 hours.
