Dear customers,

We are excited to share the first edition of our 2025 Personal Care Newsletter. In this issue, we showcase our collaboration with our esteemed suppliers. Discover our new toolkit formulations, which highlight how cosmetic ingredients elevate sensory experiences, and learn how our modular chassis components accelerate the path to market-ready cosmetics.

We would be delighted to welcome you in person at our booth 2B40 at in-cosmetics® in Amsterdam to experience Textures you can feel for Beauty you can see.

STOCKMEIER Toolkit Formulations – Texture meets Sensory

In a fast-moving industry, the traditional development cycle often fails to meet market expectations. We like to present you a way to shorten the development time: modular chassis formulations. To develop a chassis formulation for oil-in-water emulsions, the following raw materials are required:

Oil Phase

Water Phase

The chassis itself is a creative tool and can be customised depending on the product design. Emulsifiers, consistency agents, emollients and oils are selected and combined for the composition of the oil phase. The water phase contains the water-soluble ingredients for optimizing pH levels and balancing actives for stability and effectiveness. In addition, the creative ingredients can be used to modify a chassis formulation with minimal effort. Skilfully combined and depending on the ratio of oil and water phase, textures of fluids, serums, lotions, creams, butters and balms can be formulated within this chassis. The sensory properties of these products can be light, moisturising, creamy, nourishing or rich on the skin.

We have developed a toolkit with 6 different formulations to show you the range of such chassis formulations. I would be happy to present the concept to you.

5 questions to ...

2. Describe the journey, the milestones. What are you particularly proud of?

It's the team that makes us proud. We have formed a team in which everyone contributes their special skills. The entrepreneurial interaction between all disciplines – commercial, technical, logistical, R&D, regulatory and documentation – has created the most important prerequisites for success. A complete product portfolio has been established that appeals to every customer in the personal care industry. We have implemented a dedicated approach for safe and well-documented products. Product management and warehousing have been harmonised with the industry's requirements for delivery reliability and services. Our House of Innovation has been developing products, concepts and offering services that set standards in the market. Visibility in the market and, above all, good technical and commercial activity are essential. We have built up a team that is present in Europe for customers and partners.

3. Describe your plans and please give us an outlook. What's next?

We will continue to focus on the European team, constantly investing in the development of the team, sales areas and processes. Further certifications are in progress. The portfolio is constantly being expanded to include corresponding, innovative products and supplier partnerships. We are currently adding natural oils, active ingredients and UV filters throughout the Group. In addition, warehousing, filling and logistic services are being further expanded.

4. What role does the European market play in your growth strategy?

The beauty industry has a multinational understanding, which we fulfil with our presence. This market is growing steadily every year, regardless of the overall economic environment. This remains crucial for our future success. STOCKMEIER Personal Care's strategy has been European from the outset. The Group has been and will be enriched by markets in which we will grow together, continuously.

5. Where do you see the current trends in the personal care sector?

The neo-ecology megatrend is still at the forefront. Individualisation and diversity follow in our branch. STOCKMEIER Personal Care is a trendsetter with its concepts: ‘Rock-Solid’, ‘Circular-Beauty’ and currently ‘Texture you can feel for Beauty you can see’. We utilise these trends as an opportunity for innovation and a driver for renewals. Our concepts present sustainability with cost efficiency for raw materials and their formulation. They demonstrate performance, individualisation and diversity in application.

I really enjoy being part of it. Thank you!
