Your STOCKMEIER Personal Care Team

in-cosmetics: „The Beauty of Distribution”

Under the heading “The Beauty of Distribution”, the STOCKMEIER Personal Care Team presented the latest launch of the CIRCULAR BEAUTY concept at in-cosmetics in Paris. As a trendsetter for sustainable and at the same time high-performance raw materials in innovative formulations, we were able to inspire our customers and partners. When we also consider your positive feedback on our solid service, we can look back on a successful trade fair. Thanks to your interest!

The CIRCULAR BEAUTY concept was certainly a highlight of the trade fair. Presented in combination with the product guides, new formulations and scientific publications, it generated impressive interest from trade fair visitors and very positive feedback from the entire market.

Three formulations from the new product launch were exhibited at the Sensory Bar and could therefore be experienced at first hand. The number of explicit requests for formulations and raw materials showed us how well the formulations were received again. This year, we are starting our series of presentations with selected formulations in this issue of the newsletter. As usual, we are accompanying the presentation via our website and on LinkedIn with our tutorial videos and a service package.

The entire team is particularly proud of the fact that STOCKMEIER Personal Care interests and appeals to the entire beauty market. Next year, we will be exhibiting at in-cosmetics in Amsterdam.

But before that, we look forward to welcoming our customers and partners from Germany, Austria and Switzerland at CB in Munich from June 5 to June 6, 2024 at our stand B15 in hall 2. Make an appointment with us or simply drop by our stand.

STOCKMEIER - CIRCULAR BEAUTY Formulations, part 1

At in-cosmetics global in Paris, we launched our new formulation kit under the motto CIRCULAR BEAUTY. It consists of seven cosmetic formulations containing various upcycling ingredients from our portfolio. We would like to present three of these formulations to you in this issue:

1. Tablet-to-Cream Face Moisturizer - with 25% upcycling ingredients

The innovative tablet transforms into a white cream gel when dissolved in water and can be used as a gentle moisturizer for the face. The highly effective thickener and emulsifier Texique® HE10 transforms the tablet into a cream gel by absorbing the water. EXOSIL® leaves the skin feeling light and silky and is an excellent substitute for non-volatile silicones. Treme-HA® is a polysaccharide derived from a beauty mushroom, also known as “next level” hyaluronic acid.

If you would like to see how the tablet was produced in our laboratory laboratory, take a look at our tutorial video.

2. Eye Contour Lift Serum - with 11.5 % upcycling ingredients

The eye serum with 1 % pure hyaluronic acid softens wrinkles around the eye area and reduces dark circles. While long-chain hyaluronic acid forms a moisturizing film on the surface of the skin, short-chain hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper into the skin and rehydrates it. The neurocosmetic active ingredient Acmel-Active acts on the skin-nerve connection and relaxes the facial muscles, reducing wrinkles and signs of facial stress. ALINA LST also promotes the formation and strengthening of collagen fibers.

3. Natural Micellar Water - with 10 % upcycling ingredients

The formula gently cleanses and removes face and eye make-up. The combination of coco-glucoside and polyglyceryl-10-laurate ensures that impurities are removed while the skin's balance is maintained. Soothing ingredients such as xylitol, rhamnose and mannitol help to prevent irritation often associated with cleansing. The product is fragrance-free, has a pH value of 5.5 and meets the requirements of natural cosmetics.

The trend formulations presented sound interesting and you want to find out more about the exact composition and the ingredients used?

We will be happy to advise you:

Alina LST

Regenerate the skin with ALINA LST - an extract from European larch

Our partner ALINA GmbH is managed by Gregor Jelinek. The Jelinek family also manages a larch forest in Styria, Austria. The larch trunks are debarked before being processed in the sawmill. The bark, a valuable resource, was simply burned in the past. In an upcycling process, this bark is now used for ALINA LST to produce an extract for cosmetic formulations.

This active extract was examined by the University of Vienna in extensive studies with living human skin cells and the underlying innovative content was supported by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency. In the final report of the University of Vienna ALINA LST as a highly potent extract with a wound-healing and regenerative (anti-ageing) (anti-aging) effect.

Advantages

  • Powerful natural extract for skin regeneration
  • Upcycling ingredient
  • Austrian origin (Styria)
  • Extracted from the bark of the European larch tree
  • Unique historical tradition - revived for cosmetic applications applications

STOCKMEIER: Your partner for natural oils and fats

We have already very successfully established our “classics” such as avocado and jojoba oil. We not only offer an attractive price level, but also promptly available stock quantities, technical application support and comprehensive product documentation.

Our broad supplier network with leading global manufacturing partners and our new organic certification according to EU Regulation 2018/848, which we obtained in February 2024, allows us to also offer natural oils and fats from controlled organic cultivation and with the European organic seal.

With reference to this year's headline CIRCULAR BEAUTY, we would like to introduce you to two natural oils whose production does not interfere with the food cycle and which therefore perfectly complement our upcycled portfolio.

Rosehip seed oil, also known as wild rose oil, is obtained from the seeds of rosehip fruits. These are a by-product of tea production and are then pressed. The high-quality oil is known for its nourishing and regenerating properties as well as its high content of anti-inflammatory linoleic acid. The carotenoids (provitamin A) it contains have an antioxidant and cell-renewing effect.

Grape seed oil: Grape seeds are a by-product of wine production. After the drying process, the seeds are pressed into oil, filtered and refined if necessary.

The result is a high-quality grape seed oil, rich in antioxidants, unsaturated fatty acids and polyphenols, which have moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties.

The combination of useful product attributes and a production process that does not interfere with the food cycle makes our upcycling oils exciting raw materials.
