STOCKMEIER - CIRCULAR BEAUTY Formulations, part 2
In the last issue, we presented three of our CIRCULAR BEAUTY formulations with various raw materials from by-products. In this section, we present four more innovative formulations from our 2024 formulation kit:
1. Powder-to-Liquid Hair Strengthening Shampoo - with 15 % upcycling ingredients
This cream-coloured powder transforms into a pearlescent shampoo when dissolved in water. The sulphate-free combination of sodium C14-16 olefin sulphonate, cocamidopropyl betaine and sodium lauryl sulphoacetate ensures excellent foaming and cleansing properties. The powerful active ingredient combination of caffeine and biotin supports natural hair growth. Inulin and betaine moisturise the scalp and hair and keep the microbiome healthy.
2. SPF 30 Shimmering Body Oil - with 10 % upcycling ingredients
The balanced combination of oils and emollients in combination with SPF 30 is quickly absorbed, protects the skin and gives it a sun-kissed shimmer. Nourishing ingredients such as squalane, apricot and grape seed oil moisturise the skin. The antioxidant active ingredients bakuchiol and vitamin E support cell renewal and stimulate collagen and elastin production.
In our tutorial videos, we show you how the shampoo and body oil were produced in our laboratory.

The combination of sodium bicarbonate and zinc oxide reduces the growth of odour-causing bacteria and thus prevents the development of perspiration odour. Selected oils and waxes such as shea butter and Kalahari melon seed oil provide lasting care for stressed underarm skin. The product meets the requirements of natural cosmetics and contains neither aluminium salts nor alcohol.
4. Exfoliating Body Scrub Sugar, Salt & Shell Powder - with 37.5 % upcycling ingredients
The different grain sizes of sugar, salt, sweet almond and olive stone granules create a pleasant feeling on the skin when massaged in and gently remove dead skin cells. Selected oils such as jojoba and almond oil provide lasting care and pamper the skin. Honey extract intensively nourishes and moisturises the skin.

5 questions to ...
2. What is your role in the STOCKMEIER Personal Care Team?
It is the team that makes us all proud. Together, we have created important prerequisites.
Together with our field service team, I look after our personal care customers in the office in eastern, northern and western Germany. My responsibilities mainly range from active customer care and counselling to preparing quotations and processing orders.
3. What excites you most about personal care?
I am particularly enthusiastic about the variety of products in the personal care sector. The spectrum ranges from skin and body care products to hair care products, which makes my day-to-day work very varied. I am also fascinated by the special requirements placed on these products. Every product has to meet high standards in order to fulfil the individual needs of consumers. Another aspect that appeals to me is the visibility of these products in everyday life. You come across them everywhere.
4. What do you particularly like about dealing with customers?
What I particularly like about dealing with customers is the opportunity to build direct relationships and to understand and fulfil individual needs. I enjoy finding solutions that help customers and seeing how my support makes a positive difference. The diversity of customers and their concerns makes for a varied working day, and I appreciate the opportunity to tackle new challenges every day while utilising and developing my communication and problem-solving skills.
5. How do you balance your day-to-day work?
In my free time, when things are going well, I go to the gym three times a week before work to balance out my working day. After a break of several years, I've also started playing football at the club again.
