The Pfandgeld-Gemeinschaft (Deposit Association) of Verband Chemiehandel (German Chemical Distribution Association) has existed for almost 30 years. During this time, both the containers themselves, the safety requirements for these, but ultimately also the procurement prices have developed. For this reason, these deposits are now being adjusted for the first time.

The new deposit rates as from 01.01.2023 can be found in the information for Customers No. 11 on the Pfandgeld-Gemeinschaft as well as our customer letter.

An amendment to the Packaging Act obliges manufacturers from 1st July 2022 to register with the Central Agency Packaging Register (ZSVR) before placing packaging on the market that is subject to system participation (Section 9 (1) of the Packaging Act). 

Contract manufacturers are deemed to be distributors within the meaning of the VerpackG. Customers on whose behalf we carry out contract manufacturing/contract filling and provide the finished products with customer labels must therefore confirm to us in accordance with Section 9 (5) that registration with the ZSVR has taken place and that the obligation to register has been properly fulfilled.
